Selected Problems In Operation Of Shock Currents Active Compensation System In The Insulated Neutral Ship Network

| Abstract |
Commonly applied in shipbuilding electrical networks
with insulated neutral point are not able to assure against
electric shock. Authors want to present a new approach to
solution of this problem. The new idea is based on active
compensation of shock current using current sources inserted
between phase wires and metallic hull. Specific properties of
ship network require solution of two basic problems: speed of
action and accuracy in generation of compensating currents.
Possibility of realization of both problems is presented in the
paper. |
