Abstract |
This paper deals with surface mounted permanent
magnet synchronous motors (SM-PMSM) control
under Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) working in
asynchronous and synchronous modes. The main objective
of such algorithm is to perform flux and torque
high dynamics control related to specific railway requirements.
Such type of applications necessitate to consider
an additional harmonic constraints (harmonic shape) as
well as DC Bus voltage limitations. Indeed, generated
harmonics could produce electromagnetic interference
with signaling systems, and voltage drop in the catenary
supply or pantograph jump introduce DC bus fluctuations.
Consequently, the PWM will be considered as an
entire part of the control objectives taking into account
the DC Bus voltage state variation. For both asynchronous
and synchronous modulation modes, an unified control
laws will be synthesized with corresponding geometric
interpretations. Experimental results for a specific
railway application test bench will be presented to highlight
the control performances of such algorithm. |
