| Abstract |
Locomotives for cross-border traffic in Europe operate under up to five different AC and DC power supply systems. Traction chain topology, main circuit and design criteria for Bombardier Transportation's new advanced multi-system traction chain are presented as well as key features and the first application in the multi-system locomotive Re 484 for SBB. |
