| Abstract |
New switched reluctance motors (SRMs) that outer-rotor is integrated with wheel have been designed, and applied to an electric vehicle (EV). The motors are put in two rear wheels without any gears, and driven directly. The SRM is simple and low cost, thus it is powerful candidate for future EV. |
