 Abstract   Structure and control algorithms of the control system for an electric vehicle with separate wheel drives with IPMSM motors are proposed. The control system consists of a MASTER controller, dedicated for traction control, and separate SLAVE controllers, designed for motor control. The implementation of FOC algorithm in DSP microcontroller and problems of identification of motor parameters are described.
