Abstract |
This paper describes the system principle, the hardware architecture, the current controller design and a maximum power point tracker for connecting a three-phase solar inverter to the power grid. The hardware structure is based on a microcontroller system controlling an IGBT sixpack, the power electronic components and assemblies. The maximum power point (MPP) tracker provides the reference current value. The current controller operates with (d,q)-vectors describing the full decoupled active and reactive current. The use of a PI-controller makes also an anti-windup strategy necessary. |
