Abstract |
Control system of a Power Conditioning System (PCS)
with Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES) is described
and analyzed in the paper. By means of the PCS, a high
power quality can be ensured. The PCS has variable control
structure that changes control strategy in different operation conditions.
Operation conditions depend on occurring disturbances at
the mains or load side. Some simulation and experimental results,
confirming proper operation of designed control system, are presented.
Results described in the paper are part of CRAFT project
–HIPOLITY (5th Frame Program). |
