| Abstract |
SVC Light is a new concept for efficient flicker mitigation. It comprises a fast controllable voltage source converter and a filter bank. The paper is highlighting its technology as well as its application for flicker abatement in steel plants based on electric arc furnace metallurgy. Results from flicker investigations and mitigation are shown in a recent case. |
