| Abstract |
Investigation of (glow)discharges and dielectric barrier
discharges becomes more important due to several industrial
applications, like UV-light generation, ozone production, soot
reduction and NOx conversion. This paper presents an electrical
representation of a (dielectric barrier) breakdown, which can be
connected directly to other electrical components in an electrical
circuit simulator. The proposed model is validated with a series
resonant power supply, which operates at 20kVAC and 50kHz.
Also can be concluded that a variable breakdown voltage and
segmentation of the load model gives a more realistic simulation
result. |
