Abstract |
Use of distributed power supply (DPS) systems is
growing with extensive pace being the main powering
architecture of the electronic systems in very near future.
Basically the stability and dynamic performance in DPS system
are involved to the interactions between the impedances
associated to different system elements. This paper introduces
the use of unterminated two-port modeling technique in solving
the impedance-like interactions providing a general platform
and methodology for the required analyses to ensure robust
stability and performance between input and output of the
system as well as within the individual system elements. As a
result of the analyses we have come up to conclusions that the
commonly used stability analysis methods do not give proper
results. |
