Abstract |
Magnetic field of a power line span is calculated in
assumption that the wire configuration is described by the chain
line, or catenary, equation. Computing procedure is worked out
based on piecewise linearization of wire segments. The observation
point may be moved along and/or transversal with respect to
the plane which contains the wire considered. Proper Matlab codes
are compiled to map 3D field structure pictures. It is found
this structure maintains some peculiar “zones of equal forces”
formed near to chain line. |
