| Abstract |
A method for designing power line filters for SMPS is
presented. The practical design work is optimized, by excluding
the nonviable combinations of filter components. The designer
can choose among the theoretically viable combinations, to try
practical designs. The theoretical calculations are based on
chain parameters. As an illustration of the method a single stage
ð-filter for a buck converter is designed. The results prove the
design procedure to be simple and straightforward. |
