| Abstract |
The paper describes the laboratory setup of a TCSC model. A new control scheme named SVR (Synchronous Voltage Reversal) control is employed instead of the traditional firing angle control scheme. The impact of the SVR controlled TCSC on SSR is investigated in this real-time simulator by analysing the system damping. Some results are presented graphically together with conclusions. |
