Design of a Robust Position Controller for IPMSM by Hybrid Fuzzy Control and Maximum Torque per Input Current

Abstract |
In this paper, the performance of a fuzzy position controller for a permanent magnet synchronous motor for robotic applications is investigated. A fuzzy logic controller is employed as an outer position loop. Moreover, a PI controller is employed as an inner speed control loop. Simulation results with Matlab Simulink package are presented. They show that the fuzzy controller is robust, that is, it has low sensitivity to parameter variations and high capability of disturbance rejection. |
