Abstract |
This paper presents digital signal processor (DSP) based cascade speed control scheme with subordinated direct torque and flux control loops (DTC) for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drives. Contrary to well-known Takahashi and Nogouchi approach which is based on hysteresis controllers and switching table, the described scheme uses PI controllers and space vector modulation (SVM) to generate switching pulses for power transistors of voltage source inverter supplying the PMSM. The presented control strategy DTC-SVM is implemented in software of the DS1103 board. Simulations and experimental results well demonstrate the effectiveness of the described control scheme. Also comparison with conventional DTC scheme and results of speed control loop are given. |
