 Abstract   This paper describes one from methods using proper semiconductor valve connection and valve firing control for solving correct valve voltage distribution in multilevel inverter. A survey of used methods is given in introduction. Circuitry of two solutions for multilevel source is described generally in the first section. Second section is devoted to more detail description of a power part connection of five level flying-capacitor type inverter and possible switching states are determined. The goal for control strategy is analyzed and an influence of switching state on terminal condenser voltages is determined in the next section. A basic idea of control strategy for the terminal condenser voltage stabilization is suggested. Basic description of mathematical model for control strategy simulation and some results from its realization in MATLAB environment are given in the last section. Recommendations for further research works are given in conclusion.
