| Abstract |
The paper presents a novel low cost dynamic shunt power filter scheme for commercial and industrial nonlinear (cyclical, arc type) asymmetrical loads. The smart filter is controlled by a dynamic on-line controller to regulate the switching duty cycle ratio (aD) for each asymmetrical half-cycle. The smart power filter is a new member of the family of smart power compensators and filters developed by the First Author. |
