| Abstract |
The results of theoretical investigation of the overmodulation strategies are presented and used for the practical evaluation of the overmodulation control region of inverter-fed ac drives. Different PWM strategies (space vector and two-phase or Flat-Top modulations) are realized by DSP control and are experimentally investigated. Special consideration was taken to maintain the effect of switching delays and dead time negligible. It was shown that asynchronous modulation together with overmodulation causes significant torque fluctuation even if the frequency ratio is above one hundred. |
