Use of Resonance in the Control of a Current Source Rectifier

| Abstract |
Pulse width modulated current source rectifiers find their application in current source power converters . For this type of rectifier, special attention has to be given for the starting of the current source and an appropriated control algorithm is needed. We propose a rigorous method for the modelling of the process and the design of the appropriate control algorithm. The LC filter placed between the voltage generator and the converter is very sensitive to the effect of voltage harmonic disturbances. We present an application of multiresonant controller to improve the spectral analysis of the line current. |
