| Abstract | This work proposes a computer program – the SPDA 2002– based on IEC 61662, ENV 61024-1 and AutoCAD 2000®. The SPDA 2002 is used by students of Electrotechnic Engineering, at Superior Institute of Engineering of Lisbon (ISEL), helping them to evaluate the risk of damages on buildings, simulating the electrogeometric model and designing the proper lightning protection system. | |||||
