| Abstract |
One main aspect in the development of Uninterruptible Power Supply Inverters (UPS) is the reduction of the losses. This paper shows the effects of reducing the losses by hard and soft-switched MOSFET and IGBT Inverters with different dc-link voltage levels. The efficiency-curves of the Inverters will be presented and the losses are in the Transistors divided into switching and forward power losses. All results are measured in practical circuits. |
