Abstract |
The intention of this work is to introduce a traction drive for a special application, which can be scaled in power, torque and speed range. The main goal is to develop an accurate simulation model of the AC machine and a power converter, including the gear and the drive train which can be easy extended. To enhance the accuracy of the models, electromagnetic non-linear effects are introduced. The properties of the presented models and the scaling of the whole drive system will be verified for a standard converter machine system and an optimised machine. |
