   Application Kalman- and Extended Kalman Filter in Direct Torque Control of Induction Motor Drive   [View]

 Abstract   The paper deals with application of Kalman- and extended Kalman filter in direct torque control of induction motor drive. In this approach the Kalman filter is used as a predictive computing block for estimation of rotor current, rotor flux and rotor speed. The extended Kalman filter has been used for providing the estimation of rotor resistance changes. Simula-tion experiments of the real- (that means computed from the complete dynamic state model) and the estimated by Kalman filter time waveforms of quantities have shown good accordance.
