 Abstract   Today's power electronics and motion control applications require flexible and efficient hardware platform supported by advanced software solutions. The paper presents the new architecture of DLH motion and power converter controllers based on the digital signal processors (DSP) and complex programmable logic devices (CPLD). The flexibility and computational power of the DLH controllers family meet in real time the sophisticated signal processing requirements of modern control algorithms and strategies (e.g. vector control, DTC, fuzzy logic and neuro-fuzzy controllers, estimators, observers)
