Abstract |
The calculated stator voltage for a flux oriented control (FOC) system of an induction motor fed by a voltage source inverter (VSI), depends by the motor parameters, specially by stator phases resistance, Rs. Also, the power semiconductors are real (there are some voltage drops across the power terminals, for motors until few kW, on the same rage with the product Rsis). Those are a few reasons that require using a bigger value for Rs (to include all those effects) when designing a classic controller. The paper presents a schema that computes the real value for Rs, using for that a Mamdani fuzzy logic controller (FLC). This is performed by maintaining the real (indirect measured) magnetizing current all time equal with its pre-set value. |
