Abstract   The paper deals with a mathematical model of the Switched Reluctance Motor, useful to evaluate high frequency (150 kHz - 30 MHz) common mode and differential mode current components. The main problem in evaluating high frequency current components in a Switched Reluctance Motor drive relays in the fact that high frequency current paths change according to the topology of the converter. A suitable model structure is thus selected that can be used irrespectively of the converter topology. A parameter identification procedure is presented that allows to determine the parameters of the proposed model according to some experimental tests.
