| Abstract |
The evaluation of currents in circuits with ferromagnetic cores leads to trouble-so-me graphical or numeri-cal procedures. In many cases the calculations may be simplified by the intro-duc-tion of an analytical approximation of commutation curve di-rectly into the induct-ance of a circuit. The influence of hysteresis loops can be taken into account by the introduction of an exponential correction for greater currents. The optimization of para-meters, numerical calculation of currents and graphical presen-tation of results may be done with the help of Mathcad program. |
