Abstract |
The magnetically levitated transpportation systems are considered to be applied in the various field because of their unique merits such as contactless and direct drive. Usually The system has the levitation and drive system respectively. Then we should consider the influence of the attractive force caused from the drive system in order to control the levitation magnet sufficiently. In this paper, we propose a novel transportation system without the electical magnet for the levitation system. In this system, the attractive force from the linear induction motor in the drive system is used for the levitation. Then we propose a novel method to control the levitation and the drive simultaneously using a power source combined with the high frequency component and the low frequency one. At first, we show the basic characteristics of the linear induction motor and explain the concept of the proposed control method. Then show the simulation results of the levitation controlled by the proposed method. |
