   Theoretical - Experimental Analysis of Periodic Running Machines Driven by Asynchronous Motor Fed by Inverter   [View]

 Abstract   The paper presents an experimental analysis of the behaviour of an asynchronous motor fed by inverter and subjected to oscillating loads. The analysis results show a resonance phenomenon whose frequency and amplitude depend on the velocity of the motor. This behaviour is explained by the classical fifth order mathematical model of an asynchronous motor. The comparison between experimental and theoretical results shows that the behaviour of the motor is reproduced with high accuracy.
