Abstract |
In the present paper a concept for damping of self-excited torsional oscillations in drive- systems with mains operated double-cage induction machines will be proposed. Considering the constructives parameters of induction machines (IM) and of load system the behaviour of the complet system has been simulated. The signal-waveforms will be compared with the experimental values. The strategy for active damping of torsional oscillations in the drive shaft bases on adaptive slip change of the induction machine. This task will be taken by the semiconductor-device assembled in the bottom-cage. The damping equipment makes possible a dynamic and low-loss adjustment of the characteristic curve of the motor. The simulations show that using the proposed strategy the magnitude of the torsional oscillations in the drive shaft can be reduced at about 50 %. |
