| Abstract |
A test platform for MOSFET bridge topologies of about 2kVA/leg and wide frequency range is
developed and experimented. The applications of the platform are for developing power converter
resonant circuits and testing magnetic components. The circuit uses IGBT transistors to avoid current
flowing in the freewheel diodes of the MOSFETs in order to provide high frequency hard switching
operation. The IGBTs are also used for current protection. The advantages of the platform are the high
operating frequency at improved switching conditions and the reliable active protection. |
