| Abstract |
We consider a permanent magnet brushless motor with an arbitrary flux distribution. The drive is equipped with an observer producing estimates of back-EMFs in stator coordinates. We propose several methods of speed and position calculations from back-EMF estimations. We consider robustness of these methods and their applicability. |
