Abstract |
In this paper direct torque control (DTC) technique is used for induction motor control. Because of high switching frequency, non-pulsed width modulation (NPWM) techniques are frequently preferred. Four different switching algorithms using hysteresis and non-hysteresis controllers are proposed and compared. The harmonic spectra of the stator voltage, current and torque are determined and compared in the above techniques. The results indicate that the non-hysteresis controllers have lower initial expense and current cost (consumed power, and current and torque ripples) compared with the hysteresis controllers. Among these algorithms, the non-hysteresis controllers called two-band flux controller and triple-band torque controller lead to a better result with an advantage of simpler control algorithms. |
