Abstract |
The presented inverter offer the potential for reduced switching loss through the use of zero-voltage and zero-current switching of all of the semiconductors in the inverter while still maintaining true PWM control. Reduced switching loss allows the inverter operate at high switching frequencies while the reduced dv/dt and di/dt help to reduce electromagnetic compatibility problems. Both simulation and experimental results are presented to show the superior performance in efficiency improvement and du/dt reduction of the proposed soft-switching inverter. |
