| Abstract |
This paper presents a single stage PFC converter that exhibits numerous advantages: efficient ZVS operation, clamping and lossless recovery of the transformer leakage related energy, inherently controllable inrush current, lower output ripple with a given output capacitance, low THD. The circuit utilizes a single magnetic structure while exhibiting CCM operation at the output. The experimental prototype demonstrates high efficiency, low THD, and good load regulation. |
