Abstract |
The paper presents analysis, modeling, and simulation of the space vector modulated three-phase to three-phase matrix converter with input power factor correction. The modulation algorithm is derived from desired transfer functions, using the indirect transfer function approach. The control algorithm is verified through simulation of matrix converter driving the permanent magnet disk synchronous motor (PMSDM) as a load. The resultant output and input currents are to be sinusoidal with unity input power factor. |
