Abstract |
This paper presents a new prototype of phase-shifted ZVS DC-DC converter with a high frequency transformer link which has two active power switches in rectifier with choke input type smoothing filter The wide ZVS area at primary side and ZCS area at secondary side can be achieved by using parasitic inductor component of high-frequency transformer. Its operation principle and feature are explained and compared with those of the previously-developed ZVS-PWM DC-DC converter. The steady-state operating characteristics of the proposed converter topology are illustrated and discussed on the basis of the simulation results and experimental ones. Finally, The ZVS DC-DC Converter with an active ZCS-PWM rectifier with capacitor input type smoothing filter is explained in this paper. |
