Abstract |
A novel prototype of zero-voltage and zero-current soft-switching PWM DC-DC power converter with low voltage and current stresses is presented for telecommunication energy plant in this paper. A new interleaved two switch forward converter topology is proposed to minimize circulating current with no additional auxiliary snubber circuits. This power converter includes some remarkable advantages such as reduced components, improved efficiency, high power density and cost effective configuration for high power conditioning and processing applications. The basic principle of operation is illustrated on the basis of steady-state analysis. Moreover, the feasible effectiveness of the proposed power converter topology is verified and evaluated by 500W-100kHz breadboard form a practical point of view. |
