| Abstract |
Electrical supply companies and industrial norms are placing increasing demands on users to ensure
low levels of harmonic loading on industrial supply networks. This, coupled with constant
developments and improvements in power electronic components and microprocessor control
technology, has led to new developments in harmonic prevention and compensation. The paper will
describe evolutions in this technology, giving examples, their structure and operational principles as
well as results in their industrial applications. |
