| Abstract |
This paper evaluates an advanced control technique for use with high kVA shunt active filters. the control technique introduces additional rotating frames of reference for each harmonic that is to be compensated. These transform previously oscillatory current references to dc values, thereby improving the steady state performance of the current controllers. The effectiveness of this technique is verified in simulation using SABER (TM). |
