| Abstract |
Evaluation of hybrid electric vehicles (HEV's) versus Internal Combustion Engine-driven vehicles
involves comparison of vehicle dynamics, exhaust emissions and fuel consumption. Accurate
simulations are crucial both at the design stage as well as a resource for customer specification. This
paper presents a simulation model with a low level of complexity, yet accounting for all major
quantities in a hybrid vehicle. |
