| Abstract |
The on board installation of an autonomous electrical energy generation system represents a good technical solution to exceed the travel range limits typical to Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEVs). In this regard, a novel power train has been developed, that is constituted by two permanent magnet AC motor drives, a diesel engine and an integrated supervisor system devoted to energy management, whole system control and control panel commands. |
