Abstract |
The design of a single phase rotary reluctance actuator with internal spindle thread is presented, where this internal thread transforms the rotation into a linear movement. The main parts of the design procedure are: a) a mechanical calculation of the spindle thread, b) an analytical parametric optimization of the reluctance actuator and c) a subsequent refinement using FEM software. |
