| Abstract |
The paper proposes a speed control loop with the torque control for DC motors with seperate excitation by measuring only the rotation angle of the rotor. An observer is used to estimate the rotor speed and the disturbance torque. It is employed to compensate the load torque and the changes in the system parameters. However, its performances are similar to those obtained by using an internal current loop with measured currents. Simulation results are presented. |
