| Abstract |
In this paper the control of the PWM current source inverter fed induction motor drive is discussed.
The capacitive currents drawn by the load filter are compensated without any measurements. The
compensation is based on the combined steady state equations of the load filter and the motor. Also, a
new simple on-line estimation method for a rotor time constant is presented. The proposed estimation
method is based on the error between the measured and reference value of the stator current imaginary
axis component. The validity of the suggested control methods are verified by simulation. |
