Abstract |
The main idea proposed in this paper is to combine neural modelling with adaptive control approach.
The plant nonlineariety is modelled by an artificial intelligence system (ANN or a fuzzy model) and
some of this system parameters are on-line adjusted by an adaptive law. System stability is
investigated. Important applications of neuro-adaptive controllers are reported: torque compensation
problem, speed and flux regulation of a current fed induction motor drive and speed regulation of
brushless permanent magnet motor drive. |
