Abstract |
Power electronics processes are usually complex and multivariable ones. The application of digital
multivariable controllers in such processes is difficult due to practical limitations in memory space
and processing time. Multi-input/multi-output fuzzy controllers allow the inclusion of different types
of knowledge about the controlled process, namely the use of a hierarchical architecture. This allows
an important reduction in the controller dimension. The paper presents simulation and experimental
results based on the application of two developed controller types in the supervision of the parallel
operation of UPSs. In fact, the implementation of MIMO controllers based on the presented approach
shows to be very performant. |
