Low-order DC-link current harmonics result from unbalanced linear or non-linear three-phase inverter
loads. In aerospace applications, large banks of electrolytic capacitors are unacceptable and
alternative techniques must be used for filtering low-order harmonics from the DC-link. This paper
describes the analysis and control of an active filter which requires no additional capacitance, and
which may eliminate selected, variable DC-link current harmonics. Experimental results demonstrate
the system operation. |
