Abstract |
This paper describes application example of a digital signal processor (DSP) controlled single-phase power factor correction (PFC) converter system using a new efficient simulation approach. This power electronic circuit simulation technique consists of a circuit equation modelled by substituting time varying switched resistor circuit in place of all the active and passive power semiconductor switches incorporated in the bridge legs of power converter circuit. An algebraic algorithm computation method transforms the matrices of the circuit equation into matrices of the state vector equation. One state-vector equation describes state-variables; inductor currents and capacitor voltages. In this approach, software code of control function used in simulation can also be incorporated in the DSP software control based PFC power conversion processing system. |
