Simulation of Phase-Shift controlled Six-Pulse Converters Based on Switching Vector

Abstract |
In the paper an efficient simulation method for three-phase bridge converters is presented. It is based on switching vector, which describes the state of the conducting power components in the converter with a space-vector of switching functions. In the beginning supply inductance is assumed to be zero but later the effect of supply inductance in commutation is also taken into account. In addition to a line-commutated ac-dc rectifier also three-phase to single-phase ac-ac conversion is discussed. Simulated results are compared with measured ones. |
